Lord Bagri
Our Group was established in London in 1970 by the Lord Raj Kumar Bagri, CBE (1930-2017). Lord Bagri was actively involved in the Metal Trade and Industry for over 58 years, and he was the first person of non-British origin to be elected and serve as Chairman of the London Metal Exchange (LME). Consequently, serving LME as a chairman for a period of 10 years and being highly regarded in the metals world. In 1995, he was awarded the CBE for services to the metals manufacturing industry, and in 1997 he was made a Life Peer. In 2002 he was awarded 'Copper Man of the Year' in recognition of his lifelong service to the international copper community by the Copper Club, Inc.
Apurv Bagri
President of the Metdist Group of Companies, awarded as Chairman Emeritus in London Business School, honorary rector and visiting professor at Cass Business School, and non-executive Director of the Hong Kong Exchange. In 2017 he was also awarded 'Copper Man of the Year' by the Copper Club, Inc. Passionate about education and maintains an interest in arts and environmental projects in the UK and abroad.
Aditi Bagri
Aditi is a next generation Bagri family member based in the UAE. Jointly responsible for Metdist’s global strategy, executive level recruitment and overall portfolio performance, setting a vision for the organisation and overseeing its global operations. Trustee of the Bagri Foundation. Experience across sectors including digital, hospitality and real estate.
Amisha Bagri
Amisha is a next generation Bagri family member based in the UK. Jointly responsible for Metdist's global strategy, executive level recruitment and overall portfolio performance, setting a vision for the organisation and overseeing its global operations. Trustee of the Bagri Foundation and director of Metdist Enterprises Limited. Experience across sectors including hospitality, education and technology.

The Hon. Apurv Bagri

Christakis Klerides
Christakis Klerides

Christakis is a fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants in the UK and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus. Having worked in the UK and Greece, he joined KPMG Cyprus in 1977, where he became a partner in 1981. In 1999 until 2003 he was the Minister of Finance in Cyprus. Since 2003 he is a non-executive director in publicly quoted and private companies in Cyprus and overseas. He has held positions in a number of international associations, including governor for Cyprus to the International Monetary Fund.

Lady Bagri

Lady Usha Bagri has been Metdist's Secretary for more than 20 years, Director of Sangam association of Asian Women, and part of the Bagri Foundation. She has also been appointed as a Director in different companies of the Group

Uday Singhi
Uday Singhi

Uday has more than forty years of trading and investment experience. In addition to being the Global CEO, he manages the Bagri family private investment portfolio and leads the Group on macro strategy. He has expertise in multiple asset classes including FX, commodities, equities, bonds and crypto currencies. In the course of his career, he has held many senior positions across multiple organisations which have greatly benefited from his expertise and experience.

Phidias Pilides
Phidias Pilides

Phidias is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in the UK. He started his career with PWC in London in 1974. From April 2002 to December 2011 was the CEO of PWC in Cyprus. He has been involved extensively with the affairs of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Cyprus. He is also the president of Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Victor Papadopoulos
Victor Papadopoulos

Victor is an economics graduate from the City of London and with a postgraduate degree from the University of Surrey. He is an experienced senior banking executive, founding member of the London Forfaiting Company PLC and previously CEO of LFC Cyprus. He serves as a director on the boards of several global corporations, as well as engineering and private equity groups.
